Other than PSA's pistol lower kit I haven't been able to find any lower kits specifically meant to operate as pistols. This is my first build so I'd like to use a kit if possible.

Any recommendations?

Thank you!

The only thing that makes that a "pistol" LPK is the buffer tube.

Ground Zero Precision has an entire section of their DIY kits that are tailored to be Pistols. They have several levels of "quality" (Triggers, barrels, handguards) depending on what you want.  All you need is a stripped lower that hasn't been previously built into a rifle.

And even that isn't needed.

Probably referring to sba3 using a standard carbine buffer tube. But otherwise, that would hurt!

People have been using standard 6-position buffer tubes with paracord wrap since before pistol braces were a thing.

I've been impressed with the quality of Foxtrot Mike Products (FM Products) and their customer service appears to be very good from what small interaction I've had with them and their posts on this forum.

Bought this lower, liked the last round bolt hold open (LRBHO) feature;
