ive heard it was a basically as many colt parts as possible in the G bcg.

Pics... and while not the smoothest finished BCG I have, I am pretty happy. The contact / sliding surfaces are GTG.
Pretty much , exactly what I'd expect from a "Mil-Spec" BCG. Chromed surfaces are well applied, and even. Fully oiled in the package. Evenly applied phosphated coated. I would have preferred the bolt lugs be chamfered at the bottom. Only marks I could readily see weere the HPT MPI on the bolt. Gas key properly staked. A big bonus ( Lol ) the the firing pin retaining pin... slid in with perfect effort. Some scuttlebutt, that these are produced by AO Precision... I'll have to figure out where my AO Precision BCG's are and compare.

Some of the "rough" looking surfaces are covered in oil. None of the rough looking areas are as bad as the photos imply.

That staking looks exactly like every Colt carrier I own.
