I’ve been watching too much SOTAR. I don’t have all the gauges that fella has but I decided to use my fat wrench and check reverse torque on one of my Del-Tons I bought last year. I’ve fired it 5 times or so and was running a trigger installation check the last few days. Routine cleaning on BCG after and I reverse checked the bcg gas key at 30 inch pounds like I see him do on SOTAR. One was loose and unthreaded immediately and the other didn’t. I torqued back at 45 and than 50. Question is double check is that correct procedure and general maintenance? Now the gas key staking is broken on the one that came back at 30” pounds. Should I always check them, and how should I restake them if they’re loose like that, or just not stake them and keep routinely checking torque?
TIA
