So my across the street neighbor and I are pretty cool. Was talking to him today after I mowed the yard and turns out after he got out of the Marines he went back in '07 and worked on guns. He left with a shit ton of parts and told me to bring some uppers over to see what I could use.
I've lived across the street from this old dude for 4 years and just today we figured out we both build. He's got a whole reloading setup also. Befriend your neighbors! |

The giant arms 59 build was a gigantic fucking pain in my ass this morning.
Started the day with the optic having the elevation maxed. No amount of tightening would take the wiggle out of the bipod. And I left a milspec trigger in the lower. it was not fun |

 Attached FileFinally put something together that I think belongs in here. Nothing special - CR6920, RCO (green), P&S RAS, B5 SOPMOD. Adding a Colt or FN ambi, Matech rear, and Surefire M600u and will likely call it a day. |

Im at a cross road here boys.
I love the way the ergo grip feels, especially when I have to run the stock collapsed. I have long arms, the reduced angle is tits. But i hate.. HATE the way it looks. @SDMF_Rebel what, if anything do you notice between the #59 build and your Mod 1? Been thinking about using this #38 S-EX with my FF RAS long and I'm debating if it's worth getting a proper 18" barrel for it.

Well the mod 1 has a Douglas spr barrel and the 59 has a chrome lined gov 20. Punching paper at 100 there's no difference. Out to 500 it's noticeable. |

I’m thinking if I go .22 either 10.5, cut down a 16 and P&W a form 1 22 suppressor right in front of the Ergo Extension or just 16” and put a leupold 1.5-4x Mark AR I have sitting around on the top rail. Thinking my next project when I get my spikes tapered gas block back. Thinking I’m gonna do a rifle length NSW recce build with a LaRue 13.2 and shave the quad down a hair. Either an ACOG or NF 2.5-10

Finally swapped the Vltor lower onto the CASV where it belongs. Also trying out a new optic since I couldn’t bring myself to be disappointed by another Eotech.
