I bet Paladin Machine in Kershaw, SC, would do it. Could probably whip up a click-adjust or set screw tunable variant too.

Can anyone learn me on the FF RAS medium part number change? Mine is marked 99166, but new ones are 20214. It's not a Vero Beach OG. When did that change happen?

If you look on KAC’s website, it has the 99166 PN Here As opposed to Operation Parts with the 20214 PN Here So it’s either one of the older originals and they just changed with the re-release or there’s something we’re missing. They have the same amount of holes and pic rails. I can’t see any difference. Originally Posted By Dobs013: Who sold who what now? I’ve been sidetracked so now I’m behind the curve! The 9 part number carried forward well after the move from VB to Titusville. I wanna say the switch from 9 to 2 was done more recently, like within the last 5-10 years. I’m pretty sure when the medium ff ras was rereleased as part of the vault release they were all with the newer 2 part number. Medium ff ras rails were pretty damn hard to find for a long time before the vault release happened. |

Dude said it was painted and didn't even know what an ARMY SPEC F1 was. Said the previous owner did it and it came on a rifle he bought. After some serious scrubbing I realized it's gotta be cera or dura. If it was cerakote it should be the air cure so I'll try some aircraft remover on it. Wasn't blasted as they taped off a lot of stuff and it's all still factory there. If I can't get it off I guess this rifle is getting rattle canned ha. |

View Quote Couldn’t tell if that spot in the pic behind the zoom ring was part of the pattern or a spot where the coating came off and was blasted aluminum. If it’s duracoat aircraft remover should do the job. If it’s cerakote probably gonna need to be rattle canned. Honestly, if it was cheap enough I’d buy one like that and just spray bomb it. |

View Quote Ya, now that you mention it, it could be. Really not sure. I opened the box. Scrubbed on it. Then threw it in safe. I'll mess with it tomorrow. Honestly, rattle canning it sounds like the best option. It's the least amount of work. |

Thing with aircraft remover is you gotta keep it off the lens or it will tear up the coatings. |

I’d be nervous to put aircraft remover on that scope.

The army spec will be right at home there. If that’s an R700 in a different stock, you did a good job. One of my best buddies hunts with that exact setup and nails everything inside of 500 yards out in west Texas and I definitely shoot 100x more than him in a year |

A lot of people will apply it over Ano, usually the finish doesn’t hold up very well if it’s done that way. |

Anyone have any uppers or just barrels/rails/bcg to sell? Figured I should finally complete the last of my lowers and stripped receivers and get something in the 10.3 to 12.5 inch range.
