Colt 115. Heavy/HRT barrel. I’m actually swapping the MK18 rail for a Kac URX4 10.75 Mlok rail, 4oz lighter and a little longer.

How big is the port?
Define short stroking.

It doesn't feed the next round or lock back on last with  55 gr 223 brass of different types. M855 winchester green tips run flawless. I think he just needs better ammo. Winchester cycled normally with a standard and H buffer.

My current rail on the 11.5 is a 10.5 MI Mlok

I probably dont really need the extra rail space but its nice to have. Also considering i may throw a heavy LPVO on it lighter might be better

I also want to get a LPVO, looking at the Nightforce NX8 in Badger C1 1.70 mount that weighs the same as the Eotech setup.

When size and weight are factored into the equation, the NX8 destroys every other LPVO without remorse.

Hope it works.  First picture post.  I think this fits in here.  It’s totally a poverty pony lower and a PSA upper. Basically I was just looking for the cheapest way to hold the parts I brought back from my time in the GWOT as a Marine infantryman (Iraq and Afghanistan)  KAC rail, very grip and panels.  I have the goofy bipod grip but didn’t use it much and don’t like it.  Bought my own new to replace the one on my M4 when I turned it in, A.R.M.S rear sight #40 that I bought because I didn’t like not having a backup although I never needed it.  Sling is my parade sling my three point is on a shelf being not used somewhere.  It’s all dusty and crusty. But the parade sling is better now because I live in the boonies and like to use it as a hasty sling if coyotes creep on my chickens and ducks.  And some trijicon sights that weren’t over there with me but I bought as soon as I got back because of reasons. Don’t glow worth much of a darn anymore but good enough on a moonlit night to help.

Yes. Car stock is a little too thin for it. I put an O ring behind it on the QD side so it will tighten down properly.

im probably just going to run a DSArms 20 inch A2 barrel with a compass lake national match free float tube. ive heard excellent things about them. it only needs to be 1-2 MOA with match ammo. so i should be good there.

just gonna be a hog / dirt mound blaster

When I PCS'd to Carson I, of course, still had my 10MTN patches on. One of the new fuzzies in Replacement says to me and my Battle (he PCS'd there at the same time) "wow, you guys got your mountain tabs? what was the school like?" We both kind of had this look on our faces.

This was well before ACU's were even a thought. Yeah, I know.

I did have a "That Guy" tab under the flap on one of my shoulder pockets for a while.

I still haven't found a forever use for it, but the Wilson Combat FSGB is solid AF. I haven't had the opportunity to handle the OG KAC version. Wilson Combat FSGB won't win any weight loss contests.
