One shot at a time.  There is not gas port or gas tube.  Must charge the handle every time.

California's may change the upper to any regular upper, but then the magazine must be fixed 10 shot only so that it is not classified an assault weapon.

There are special takedown pins and maglocks available aftermarket to assist with mag changes (armalock, kingpin, Juggernaut tactical, etc).
