It is, just remember how the plastic cap has to be rotated a bit to come out, and do the reverse when you reinstall it with the ASC

Good shit. Got the ASC and Nub Mod done today. Less plastic and more aluminum is always a good thing. I’m clumsy and tend to break shit. Pretty much goes with the theme here (TrueNorth MHA).

Nice!
We decided to go logo-less, as small as they are, they stand out quite a bit ![]() Chris laser engraved some for those that want the logos, we only have ASCs without logos. |

When will there be another run of ACFs and EPCs in clear ano and/or Grey(Gray)?
|
|
|
[#5]
Clear ano EPCs will be here soon, but there's no more clear ano ACFs, we ran them once and that was it.
We'll have some clear ano forged uppers next week too ![]() |

Where will the clear and EPCs be at on your site? any eta? why is the charging handle one and done clearly the market wants more clear ano, I rather have your charging handle in clear, but if you won't do another run then I guess badger and radian(and Q) will have the market on clear ano charging handles. please make more parts in clear ano and gray ano!

Clear ano EPCs have been shipped to us, we should have them next week, but we can't post links here.
Meanwhile, FDE and ODG forged and billet uppers will be ready soon. ![]() |

Could we get a sneak peek at the fixed sling loop mount for picatinny and mlok?
|
|
|
[Last Edit: Duffy]
[#13]
Not yet, but very soon.
It's probably the hardest fixed loop MLOK and Pic rail sling mount / equipment tethering point to make, it's different from ones we've seen, but we want the loop to be very strong and supported from both sides of the mount. The design makes them very time consuming to machine, we don't want copycats to beat us to market with our own design. It'll be a dual use component, both as a sling mount and a tethering point for dummy cording thermals and NODs. |

I haven't seen theirs, customers can make direct comparisons but we can't. As long as it's to Aimpoint's P2 TDP footprint spec and steel, I can't see anything wrong with theirs.

On the Staccato OPF-S plate for RMR, was weight a critical factor? I ask since the lightening cuts require a Trijicon sealing plate. I try my best not to use those sealing plates unless it's a direct cut slide.
Was there no way to keep the RMR o-ring outside the boundaries of the lightening cuts? |

[#18]
We're mindful of weight. RDS guns are snappier in recoil as there's additional mass on the slide. It wasn't always a factor we looked at, but going forward, we will be making some changes, especially to the ACRO plates as they're the heaviest of them all, this is a minor refinement for these plates. For RMR HD and RCR, like SRO, are all sealed and no need for a sealing plate.

It's a patented feature (not ours, it belongs to Swiss CNC that makes many of our products for us) that doesn't add to the cost of the product.

Was it just single dimple for the clear ano epc?
Any clear ano for the tgf? Any grey/gray ano for the tgf or acf? |

[#27]
Both single and twin dimples for the clear ano EPCs.
We have a field grey ACF (till they run out), it's a grey green like the WWII German field grey, but no TGF in that color. Originally Posted By teutonicsteel: Was it just single dimple for the clear ano epc? Any clear ano for the tgf? Any grey/gray ano for the tgf or acf? View Quote |

That is correct. As it is, not all 7075 products we have done in clear ano and FDE have turned out the same color, FDE is one of the harder colors to do. The shop is pretty good and would try, but 6061 may not match well.

Sample size of one but these photos reminded me. My LRF does NOT like any grip with a beaver tail/tang (K2 in this case) on it so I used the B5 Type 22 grip without one like above.
Is this something dimensionally across all LRFs or is mine an anomaly and the photos posted above are just a coincidence? |

It's something we are fixing to resolve in the next revision, it's kind of random with various grips that have the beaver tail.
