I have held off for years building a carbine with a M4 profile barrel. Just never liked the looks of the 16” ones. Was in the process of working on pinning a 14.5 barrel, when this barrel popped up on the EE. Pin and weld with barrel spacer was done by John Thomas. Upper receiver and bcg are Diemaco. Barrel and stock set are all Colt. Older RRA lower.
This is definitely the way to go if pinning a 14.5 with a standard A2. Spacer blends in with all the other steps in the barrel. Looks real good.
