OK Been moved for a all of February and one week of March so rather than attend to my very long laundry list of sh*t I gotta get done after the move I took a Sunday Gunday and gather up the little ones for a family photo op.

(I THINK that's all the uppers. More lowers in a box somewhere. If you've ever moved after 25 or so years you know the drill.)

Can't put the GX together until I get stamped.

Attachment Attached File

I need one more to make it an even dozen!

20 minutes from my shooting property and I haven't been in months.

Man, you need to get a M12 Weapons rack instead of stacking them in a corner.
Our cats would have them knocked over in no time.

OP, you need more diversity.
Very good collection.
Dear Diary,
OP won the Internet today!

I drug them all out of the closet for the picture!

I would LOVE to have an M12 but hasn't happened yet and the Cavalier King Charles can't jump that high.

There are man cave plans afoot with a slat wall for hanging them all nicely for display along with the 4 M1 Carbines, 2 Garands and assorted other firearms and pistols and edged weapons! And a safe or something for the pew pews to shelter in when needed.

The diversity is still in the closet! The aforementioned Carbines, Garands, 97 Winchester shotty, JR .45 carbine, pump 22 and some sharp pointy things that stick on the ends of rifles and some that just stick into other things.

GX-5857 > 607

It's in 2 pieces because I don't have a stamp but the upper and lower are there! Laying on the table!

That is my Sorta Proto Middy build with the bayo lug on the rear of the FSB. The GX is there. Better than a 607!

Very Nice!

Is it a Freudian Slip that your wallet is also in the picture?

Damn Cal30, don't remind me of that one. It really appeals to my RBRD.

@sandsock it must've been Freudian! I don't keep good records of how much I've spent over the decades but yeah my poor wallet has been abused by RBRD!

JUST DO IT @Charles_P_S

Hardest part was paying someone to do the rear sight!

Other than that it was a pretty straight forward build. Did the handguards different and they were a bit of a challenge. Email me if you need more info on the build.

I remember you posting pics of the FSB getting done, along with pics of the proto rifle that inspired the build.

But really Cal30, you are like those kids in the after school special; "just do it man, all the cool kids are"

In all seriousness though, thanks for the offer of help. I'll hit you up if I decide to do one

According to my grown children the saying goes "All the cool kids are doing it!"

It's a REAL handy pointer! I think it's my favorite to shoot!
