just bought it and it's sitting at the casa waiting on Butch to get home and of course bust it apart cause he loves parts.. Anyway I'd never seen a 1/9 on a 6020, I know about the 16" A3 Tactical Carbine 1/9 Heavy profile but not this one... Best part about it is the Cerro Keyhole receiver. Will look for the date code when I get there

That’s a 6922 barrel.
It was a limited run for some LEO.

Quite rare afaik

ETA: C AF receiver.. I guess it’s a late 90/ early 2000 era

The AR6920DC upper conversion groups with the 1:9" twist barrels were readily available before the 6920s with the 1:7" twist barrels became widely available to us lowly civilians.  I owned a couple of them, purchased new, directly from a verified Colt dealer.

I knew about the 6922 never knew they did 6920s 1/9.

What would have been the difference between the two??

It's a 6922.

Same guns other than twist rate.

My 6920's all are 1/9.

Mine are stamped "Leo/Mil" only on right side of receiver.

I happen to own a 6922 Colt detachable upper w/1-9 barrel twist. It arrived exactly in as seen in picture. Bought back in 1999/2000 time frame from I believe the distributor Del-Ton? Very accurate barrel that's been very good to me over the years. Very seldom shoot it....

I’ve got that same upper with the m16a2 sling swivel. I’ve been trying to find more Information on the 6922.
