Thoughts on these two?
Preferences?

Yes I know Magpul....
But my Marcolmar CETME L only takes USGI style mags and Lancers.

Thanx in advance.

Surefire Okay E2's are nice.. as are their classic GI's.. I prefer them if using a metal magazine. Work great in my CETME L

Surefeed/Okay has been producing the absolute highest quality GI magazines for decades.

Those other guys.....haven't.

Clear Lancers offer the best protection I know of to prevent .300 Blackout chambering in a smaller caliber chamber.

I have both.  They're both fine.  Okay seems to get ARF all hot and bothered but I can't tell much of a difference from any other US made "GI" mag IE Colt, Bushmaster, etc, etc.

Magpuls Gen2/3 are still more reliable IMO and they don't dent, which is why I prefer them, but I have so many mags I'll never wear one out.

One is proven the other isn’t.

I've never had a problem with my standard Okay mags, so I see no reason to sway from them.  I haven't seen the need to get the E2 version for my usage.  More traction for gripping seems to be about the only real benefit over the standard.  Maybe the new feedlip geometry is better for fullauto or M855a1 shooting, but I don't shoot either.

If you need a steel USGI-style magazine, the Duramag may be a good option.  I have no experience, but the reviews seem to be positive.  Are they more crush-resistant than an aluminum magazine, I don't know?

My number one go-to mag are clear Lancers, L5 AWM, or L7, 10R in .308, 20R in .308 and 5.56 (or any .458 SOCOM or cat based on it), and 20R in .308.  Next on my go-to list is the OK Surefeed E2 30R.  Any 6.8 or 6.8 based cat will only see PRI 6.8 20R and 30R mags (body size, not actual round count).

Surefeed are my go-to metal mag. They've never caused any issue, are readily available, and reasonably priced.

I bought a few bronze Duramags purely for aesthetic's sake and they've also been fine. Do I trust them the same way? No, so they're relegated to range use. But in fairness I have yet to have any problems with them and they appear to be well made.

I believe in Surefeeds for metal mags above all else, but I figured if SOLGW is willing to put their name on them then there must have been some testing at least.
