8.5, 10.5, 12.5 and 16's are run.......still running the shorter barrels........and debating how to cut remaining blanks......thinking about 7.5 and more 4.5
But what is done will go to nitride when the 5.5 and 5's are finished |

8.5 is for the 7 inch......gives just a little barrel reveal prior to the threads.......and MANY handguards are 7.125 or 7.2 or.......
Main concern these days is minimizing waste in the cut....I ordered 27 inch blanks......and got 25's, screwed my cut list.......but as it took me seven months to get them....basically no choice to run with what we got |
