So I am looking to buy a decent assembled rifle. I have several builds but just like the thought of buying a completely put together rifle with a manufacturers backing. The DD is right in my wheelhouse price wise ($1,500 - $2,000) and it's available locally. Any thoughts on this DD version? I tried a search with no luck. I am sure this has been discussed before but I just decided I wanted to go this route. Thoughts on this or alternatives?

If you want a slim and lightweight rifle, DDM4V7 is the ticket. I think I weighed a V7LW and it came in at about 7lbs with aimpoint and full mag. Other options are the DDM4V5 and DDM4V3 for a stouter quadrail version.

Nice. Thanks for the replies. I really like the slimmer handguard. Might just have to go and plop down the money and pick it up.

The DD V7 series are fantastic....I have the V7SLW and a V7 SBR....both are great

The V7 SBR 11.5" upper has been replaced with a DD MK18 upper

I have one and love it. I did, however, replace the trigger with an MBT.

My favorite non-RIS DD, and by a long shot. Very comfortable and a good weight.
