I've got a bit of a conundrum and all my fellow ROs at the range are giving me mixed stories

I've got a DDM4 rail mounted on my upper and a Superlative Arms. .750 adjustable gas block underneath. The gas block does touch the inside of the handguard so that the barrel appears to be pointed down ever so slightly (you'd have to stare at it for a while and use a micrometer to notice that its not perfectly centered in the handguard.)

Is this an issue? Do I need to buy a low profile gas block?

It “COULD” mess with the harmonics of the barrel. Probably nothing significant but personally I’d change it out because it would bug the hell out of me.

I’m sure there are much better people that can answer this.

I was going to ask if you could maybe dremel a little off the gas block where they touch, without affecting the gas block workings.
I don't think I'd dremel on a DD hand guard, but that's just me.

I don't know if I would dare use a Dremel on the gas block for two reasons: don't wont to mess with the gas block and... I don't own a Dremel. I'll plan on picking up a bravo company low profile gas block or something similar

Update: Had a hell of a time getting everything lose because, like an ignoramus, I loctited everything but I got a bravo company low-profile gas block on there and everything works.

Thanks again for the help
