I came into this crate of M855A1. I know it is packaged on stripper clips, but does anyone know if it is on bandolieers or how the stripper clips are packaged inside? Ammo cans? Not sure if I want to open it.

FWIW... that stuff is supposed to pretty rough on bolts, barrels, and feed ramps... just sayin'

There are two or three ways to get it legally, I’m not sure how much has escaped like that, I’m sure not much, but enough that we can’t speak with certainty to all A1 being illegal.

The stuff should be easier to buy. Not crazy about the 'grey market" or whatever. Even at $2 per round, Federal would sell a bunch.
