Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Correct ejection port door, grip, and stock for DOE

I’ve seen several different examples while searching on the internet’s.  The ejection port door is cut down, but is it the older a1 style (rectangle on the outside), or the more modern version (square on the side)?  The grip, is it A1, or A2?  The Stock, were they aluminum (gen 1 collapsible), or the fiberlite version?  Thanks in advance!!!

The 9mm SMG is a mid 1980s vintage gun. So generally all later style parts (A2 grip, A2 port door, etc...). I think there is some frequent confusion due to pictures like the one below of a DOE upper on an M16A1 lower. This would not have been correct for a factory gun which would have had a 9MM SMG marked lower.
