Might be because Colt semi-auto hammers are notched and we all know notched hammers won't work with blow back AR-9s.

They are CMT parts and it is a dedicated 9mm upper as it doesn't have a hole for the gas tube. https://www.gunbroker.com/All/search?IncludeSellers=2507911 |

Nice build !
Make sure your bolt doesn't have to much space between the bolt catch and bolt face... about 3/16" is advised. ( otherwise bolt catches can break ) FWIW... CDNN has Metalform 32rd mags on sale. $30... be sure to clean any interior rust treatment / oil from the mag body and follower prior to use. The stuff is sticky https://www.cdnnsports.com/magazines/ar15-9mm-32rd-metalform.html?trk_msg=HCI3PLAN4HEKV9MM9CVV6A5TH0&trk_contact=3LUQ0J6EB9K4370M38QQ6QNN4C&trk_sid=RFGVJ8FC1EOHH6JPV1LB7FGKNS&utm_source=listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=https%3a%2f%2fwww.cdnnsports.com%2fmagazines%2far15-9mm-32rd-metalform.html&utm_campaign=CDNN+Sale+1-21 |
