Have someone locally selling a Colt A2 Lightweight 16inch upper with a 1/9 twist. Also with BCG.

Having trouble identifying what Colt model this came off of. He says pre-ban but I can’t find any 1/9 16” LW models. Upper Receiver is marked C AF and barrel is marked C MP so the markings seem legit.

Also, any idea if I should be expecting a Half Moon BCG with this upper?

Dont remember Colt making a LW in 1-9... They were mixing & matching parts in the early 2000s, so who knows about the BCG...?

According to TBR2, there was a AR6522 and a AR6320 (which appears to maybe be a Specialized Armament Warehouse-specific model).

The AR6522 (AR-15A2 Gov't. Carbine) was a chrome-lined 16 inch "A1" (skinny) barrel with a 1/9 twist.  The BCG was semi (half moon) and the upper receiver was A2.  A2 front sight base with bayonet lug.  Compensator.  Sliding stock. Carbine handguards.

The AR6320 (Police Patrol Carbine) was a chrome-lined 16 inch "A1" (skinny) barrel with a 1/9 twist.  The BCG was semi (half moon) and the upper receiver was C7.  M4 front sight base with bayonet lug.  Compensator.  Sliding stock.  Carbine handguards.

Learned something new.. never heard of a colt LW 1/9 barrel.
The “22” part in the model number seems to indicate the 1/9 twist..
I remember the special run of 6920 with 1/9 twist that was labeled as 6922.
