That's the first time I've seen them beat Windham Weaponry's prices for them.

Be careful when ordering them from Brownells though. If there's any way to ask that they be shipped in a box well packaged so that they don't clank around in shipping it would be wise to do so. I've received them damaged when they sent 3 sets in a bubble mailer envelope.

They look like the fat ones that come on PSAs guns. I prefer the original skinny type.

Been kind of curious as to who makes these fatty handguards. According to their website, Prudent American Technologies (formerly P&S) is at least one who does. Wouldn't be surprised if some were sourced from China (but that's just a guess).

Cavalry Manufacturing sells them, but I don't know if they're a manufacturer or just a vendor:

Here's a set of fatties on a new DPMS I picked up last month.

Received two (2) sets of Colt A2 Hand Guards today (from Brownells). They appear to be the exact same hand guards that came on on my Colt A4 I purchased from Brownells 5+/- years ago.  They’re not the fatties.  They’re good to Go.   I hope H&R uses these when they launch their complete A2 uppers.

Did they package them well, or were they sent out in the dreaded bubble wrap padded envelope?

Of course they won't ship them to me now, so I'm lucky that I stocked up on them a couple years ago... Even plain old basic handguards are an evil "assault weapon" feature according to Washington.

Where do you see rifle-length poly hand guards on Prudent American's website?  I only see the M4 type, and they're supposed to be fat/oval.

Cavalry is a manufacturer.  They make two rifle-length hand guards, the C7 which is the oval ones people are talking about in this thread, and the C5 you linked, which are even fatter.
