So I decided I really need a non-NFA AR. I have slowly settled on doing a Colt 6960 with a Surefire 3-prong flash hider pinned and welded to 16”.

Does anyone know if there is clearance with the factory centurion rail to mount up a surefire mini once the barrel is cut back?

The 6960 barrel is perfect how it is. Why go to all the trouble to save maybe 3/4”??

Should be around 2” shorter.
