Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Charging Handles, how to tell 7075 from 6061?

7075 or 6061... does anyone here have a simple method for picking up a charging handle and determining whether it's one or the other?   I've accumulated quite a few over the years an I would really like to sort them out before thinning them out.  Thanks!

Live near a metal scrap/recycling center?  Most have handheld X-ray fluorescent (XRF) analyzers these days. Shoot/ID in seconds.
