Wild guess- Brownells retro line.

Maybe take pictures of the marks on the right side of upper receiver, and the markings on the barrel.

Pretty vague otherwise.

Appears to be a early run Colt / Harvey Aluminum upper. The barrel appears to be correct period. So its a Colt XM177 upper. Need pictures of barrel stamping to be sure.

Where would the barrel stamping be located? Under the hand guards?

Upper is Colt, but the barrel definitely isn’t an XM177E2 barrel.  Still has the bayonet lug and it looks like it’s a heavier profile barrel which a 177 wouldn’t .  Any marking on it?

It's a modern .750" barrel.

There isn't any markings on the barrel anywhere I can find.

Any chance the barrel was cut down? Markings could be gone.

Pull the handguards, Colt date stamps their barrels as well, at least the more modern ones.  Right behind the gas block I believe.

The Colt upper receiver is a good sign for the barrel.  Better than being a repro upper, but they could still have pieced if all together.

What Bolt carrier group is in it?
