Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - CMMG RDB upper mag well compatibility

Thinking about building my first AR9 with the CMMG RDB system. I want to use a standard lower but not the Mean Arms P-mag conversion. Are their any mag blocks for Glock or Colt mags that will work? I already verified Stern Defense won’t work.

I don't think there is any Glock or Colt mag block that is 'plug n play' with the CMMG RDB system.

Colt mag blocks and the Stern block will both work IF you make some mods.   A local buddy is using a Stern Glock mag block with his CMMG RDB and several others have done it here as well.
