I'm thinking of buying this, but am concerned that it won't be as reliable as what I'm accustomed to:

https://www.targetsportsusa.com/cci-blazer-22-lr-ammo-40-grain-lrn-value-pack-10021-p-1453.aspx

Does anyone know the difference between the bulk pack and the individually packaged one?

IDK, but I’ve had very few issues with bricks of it in the past.

And I bought some of the bulk.Attachment Attached File

The 38 grain is a little cheaper and supposedly less accurate. The 40 grain comes in smaller boxes opposed to loose and is supposedly more accurate and is a little more expensive. I have shot many boxes of both and can’t tell much of a difference.

is that the new packaging for the blazer?

Ive shot prob 50K easily of the old packaging and maybe a handfull of FTfires. The old blazer had the same bullet as the CCI MMs and fed flawlessly. The CCI "standard" bullets I dont like that much.

Question sir.  Was that shooting in a dedicated 22 AR or a conversion kit - just wondering how the LRN performed in that vs. the usually recommended plated/jacketed bullet.  Thanks. :)

dedicated ARs, 1x keuhl barrel, 1x taccom barrel 1x beyer barrel

beyer is a match barrel and feeding needs to be perfect or they get hung up(chamber is very tight for a AR barrel). The CCI MMs and blazer don't have a pronounced "lip" as the standard CCI LRN and they feed much better.

I have one ruger mk4 that doesn't like the LRNs either, the other two work fine with them.

I dont find a difference vs the plated MMs and non plated CCI blazer, its how the bullet is made.
