I let my kids shoot them. They can shoot without muffs and it doesn’t bother the neighbors.

I have a Sparrow waiting for a stamp so I'm buying as much CCI Quiet 22 as I can. 22LR 40gn 710 fps pre-fragmented copper jacket. The range I go to has plenty on the shelf but will not sell "take out" so I buy a bunch, shoot some, and horde the rest every trip.

As long as they feed and function in your rigs, and the kids are having fun, they are worth every penny.

Shorts require single/manual loading IME. Won't cycle autoloaders, jam in bolt/lever guns.
Quiets in LR are my preferred. I use them for "overwatch" in my garden.

Thanks, I picked up 5 sleeves of CCI Short subs. I'll use them in the bolt gun or wheel gun.
