Bushmaster MOE Dissipator with Troy 15" VTAC Battlerail, Troy BUIS, VTAC linght mount, Fenix TK11 and VTAC Bungee sling. Plate carrier is Warrior DCS with level IV plates, pouches are Condor and Blackhawk! stuff but I´m going to replace them for HSGI Taco´s.

My new Bushmaster. was the MOE edition but I changed out the hand guard with a Guntect.

I know there is a lot of people who hate on the Bushmaster and I must say this gun has run perfect. I carry a Bushmaster that was issued to me by my department and it too has run great.

Here is personal Bushmaster.

My M4 is almost complete.

2006 Bushmaster AR15
Knights RAS
Knights VFG
Surefire 951 with tape switch
EOTech EXPS3-0
Matech BUIS
Single point sling plate
Vltor Modstock
Ergo Grip

I've been working on this one for a while and I'm about done with it.  I tried to limit my accessories to the stuff I felt I really needed and would use.  I still need to secure the pressure switch for my Surefire light a little better.  I may upgrade the light to a new fancy one and if I do I'll probably go with a push button instead. I have a nice sling for it but it uses an HK hook which isn't ideal for my single point sling plate.  Probably the next thing I'll do for it is try to find a more appropriate sling.  Other than that I'm about done with this one.  Of course you are never really done with these.

It is no longer a gun, it is now a weapon system.

My 2006 Bushmaster MK18 clone.
Upper is a 10.5" from Andro Corp. Industries; jwill242004 in the EE sells them.

While this is my most neglected rifle these days, I have some sentimental attachment to it. It was my first EBR, which I purchased as soon as the Clinton Ban sunset. All the guts, except the mil receiver extension, are still stock and it still runs like a champ with well over 10k through it.

Rifle pictured is actually a BCM upper, however the same set up was run on a Bushmaster Hbar upper before that.

Troy Delta rail
Aimpoint PRO
BCM QD End Plate sling mount
Magpul Sling Swivel
VTAC LIght Mount
(Light and sling are no name CTD and lgs buys)
The only grip that never changes is the K2+.

I cut off the FSP on the Bush Hbar upper and filed it into a gas block, as well as removed the Delta ring and handguard end-cap. I haven't decided what exactly I'm going to do with it yet.

The lovely and talented Brenda

Base is Bushmaster ORC.

UPPER: Aimpoint PRO, Magpul flipup open sights.
UTG Pro Slimline FF forend, Olight Warrior, YHM comp. BCM Gunfighter charging handle.

LOWER: Fab Defense Mag Stock, Magpul grip. CMC Trigger, Stag lefty safety, ambi mag release.
Blue Force Gear sling.

Lovin it. Runs 100% and plenty accurate. CMC Trigger is the best thing ever. This particular Bushy had a beast of a trigger out of the box, I swear it had to be 10-12 pounds. My brother has two ORCs and neither were near as bad. Tried polishing up the Bushy parts, made it better but still unacceptable. The CMC is crisp and almost too light, but I'll get used to it.

Ah, what the hell.. 14.5" 09 Windam Bushy. Everything's been changed out cept the receivers, buffer assembly, and safety. Been 100% reliable so far (approx 2k thru it). About 7lbs even as-is.

What scope you have on it? I'm looking for one to accommodate a rear flip site as well.

Beautiful machine there. What kind of optic? I'm looking for one to complement my flip up rear sight/arch front sight.

I just ran across this thread.  Here's a couple pictures of my 1992 vintage Bushy.  This was the first AR I build from a stripped lower right before the Clinton AWB took effect.  This isn't  my favorite AR but seems it's always the one I grab and it's starting to show it's age.

Bushmaster M4A3 Patrolman model:

Magpul CTR Stock
Magpul Pistol Grip
Magpul Trigger guard
BCM Gunfighter Ambidextrous Charging Handle
Troy Industries Rail
UTG Bipod

Burris 1x4x24 SkullTac rifle scope
Burris FastFire III red dot sight

Very accurate rifle, mostly due to the rifle and optics....not the shooter...

Before I finished....

Bushmaster LE/Security Surplus.

Cleaned her up, swapped out the factory bushmaster skinny handguards for a set of skinny Colt handguards that I already had painted. I'm going to paint the rifle eventually so I figured I'll keep an unmolested set around. I also ground off the finger rest on the pistol grip.

Bushmaster upper (14.5" HBAR) on a DPMS lower (2004). It originally had an AK-74 type brake on it and I removed it and had an extended A2 FH pinned and welded on it. The only other thing I did was add the Aimpoint Comp M2 w/ QRP mount.

Bushmaster slightly upgraded with a milspec stock, receiver extension, and Lone Star grip.
Also a Aimpoint and Surefire for good measure.

Does anyone have any photos of early production Bushmaster markings?  Curious to know if they always used the snake marking.

Pick this up from a dealer on gunbroker for $600 its a police trade in and it shoots very nice. Believe it was built in 1994 its a little rough but I like it that way.
