Because when your bore size is .729 you can't very well use a .750 gas block.

I put an osprey kit on my 16" heavy barrel midlength.....works fine, however you will need a gas block, preferably pinned in place, as the kit is designed to insert right into the front sight base.  Also I have magpul moe handguards on it.  I don't think there's much out in free float rails that'll clear the unit.
