Hey everyone,
Does anyone know of a place to purchase those caps for ar15 buffer tubes that allow you to store the buffer in spring inside the tube? I have a couple of complete stock assemblies that are going back in to the safe without being installed on a receiver. In the past, I have received some stock assemblies that included the plastic cap but I threw them out thinking I would never need them. Well, now I do. this is an example of what I am looking for from google.

I wonder if someone could modify a buffer tube castle nut ... extending it and making it a threaded cap ?

Can you not just use an aluminum / whatever pipe endcap with same threads? Or, this would be ezpz for one of these guys with a 3d printer.

The problem is, the threads are unique. Yeah, I really need to invest in a 3d printer.
