This may sound odd, but so long as the buffer system is a matched length (all carbine), and the buffer is the desired weight, is there any reason not to use a buffer marketed for a blowback PCC in a DI/delayed build?

Why would you?  Some use buffers up to 10 ounces in blowback 9's, and blowback 9mm buffers are usually longer than standard buffers which wouldn't work in an RDB or DI gun.

Because I need about a 10oz buffer.

The longer length is a good thing to know, I'll look into that and see if it brings up any issues.
