Why do you think it wouldn't? No anti-rotations tabs to grind off. The real question is, $270 for a handguard and they can't throw in the $5 wrench?!?!?

Because there are a few websigbts that carry the uppers that say "this upper won't work with the SLR handguard". Problem is that isn't there more than one Handguard SLR carries? |

Yup. No issues. I have one with a different SLR handguard.
