I'd go with Brownells, personally. They made actual GI mags for a while, they've been reliable for me, and they offer grey, black, and tan just like Okay did.

Never had problems with any of the D&H mags I own. But you can still find Okay mags new for normal prices.

I've personally had better luck with D&H than with recent manufacture Okay mags.

There's an army navy store in my town that has SEVERAL okay magazines. Ten bucks a piece. I pick up a couple whenever I can.

I recently bought a 10 pack of grays from BCM and they came with the standard D&H floor plate. No BCM marking.

I think it just depends on where you get them. I know that when I order from PSA, they always come with the PSA floorplate. I think a couple of other companies also have D&H mags with vendor specific floorplates (DS Arms and BCM maybe?). I'm sure there are still probably plenty of places to get the mags with the standard D&H floorplates though I've never really cared what floorplate my mags have. The magazine bodies will have the D&H unique cage code stamped on them, so they are easy to ID if need be.

I keep trying to find something wrong with them and haven’t yet. Will probably run 4 in my fall carbine courses this year (2000 rds suppressed) and see what happens.

D&H is my favorite of current production USGI aluminum mags now that OKAY has stopped production.   (D&H was my second choice when OKAY/SUREFEED was an option).

I've been using D&H for a lot of years, and they always work.  I will say the metal edges are "sharper" and "rougher" than on Okay/Surefeeds.  This is usually discovered when loading them or when your forearms get scrapped up from pouched mags on your PC.  The feed lips (loading) and base plate retention tabs (carrying) will let you know.

I'd take a D&H with MP follower over any generation of PMAG, but a PMAG over the other current aluminum USGI options.

The 40 or so C-Products mags I had were terrible.  I ended up giving them to a FFL to sell in his shop at 10/$40.  The mags had these orange followers that always bound up, and the bodies seemed to be out of square. Feed lips were ROUGH and the geometry might have been a little off (visual comparison to OKAY and D&H).  I remember buying them because I found a bundle deal online. It was like $200 + shipping for 40 mags.

I know C Products were disliked in the past. When did you buy the mags you had bad results from?

I see. This is why I'm afraid of relying on "reviews" which are sometimes fake. Any pics of the bad feed lips or followers? Why was customer service bad, did they just not want to help you?

The best aluminum mags now that Okay is gone, is Okay.
They're still available and can be found at reasonable prices. That won't always be the case, so my advice would be to buy what you reasonably will use now.

A convicted felon still owns the company?

No idea. But after a conviction for trading machine guns for cola to cartel members (undercover DEA), I'm certain that they haven't joined the local church choir or anything comparable.
