Late response, but I have a folding AKV in a Vertx EDC 2.0 bag.  Plenty of room to carry other items, trauma / medkit, EDC items, and it's low key.  It's honestly not hard to carry.  With the rioting going on, it's not a bad idea to at least carry a bag with medical kit and such in it.
