No one can answer this question for you. Neither are “match” grade ammunition, so groups probably won’t be great, but the only way to answer your question is to buy some of both and test them out in your gun.
As for velocities, the only thing I can come up with is the .223 load was tested using a longer barrel. |

SAAMI spec calls for a 24" test barrel for .223REM
NATO EPVAT uses a 20" test barrel for 5.56x45 NATO That's the difference in published velocity. Shot out of the same barrel, you'll probably see slightly higher velocity with the 5.56 due to being loaded a little hotter. |

1. Shoot both and find out in YOUR gun.
2. Its not, chrono both in YOUR gun and you will see the real velocity. |

No I have not yet I just completed the Seekins 3G2 build last week and the weather here has been extremely hot and humid and rain. Only spent 30 rounds of the 5.56 just to sight the 5x20 Trijicon close but not exact yet, did a clean and lube. Compared to my DPMS and Daniel Defense AR this .223 Wylde barrel gets hotter though.
