I just picked up an Aws lab belt, seems pretty nice and will suite my range needs and did not break the bank.  Paired with some Esstac kiwis and a safariland holster.

I’ve used a kit of different belts, and frankly they all suck.

I have a Propoer USMC MOLLE belt now because I like the included suspenders .

AWS makes a great double rig belt.

I have a Blue Alpha and an AWS, I kinda like the extra stiffness of the AWS honestly.  And it's cheaper.

OP, if you go with a double rig belt, and even moreso if you use Esstac pouches, learn how to attach stuff with Velcro one wrap.  It's awesome.  There are a few threads on it floating around.  All other methods are peasant shit.

Don't look for extra stuff to jam all over your belt.  Just put what you need on it.

I have been issued that thing since it came out.  It's okay for some odd/large items, or if you need to wear heavy outer garments...  It has its place I guess, but it mostly sucks for holding a pistol in a consistent spot compared to a double rig belt.

What did you hate about double rig belts enough to make you switch to the MOLLE belt + suspenders?

Agree. I bought a couple due to this sight and overloaded mine. Stick to the minimum.

I just use a regular duty belt with velcro underbelt. Wear my pistol in a high rise holster.

AWS makes a nice belt. The double belt system with velcro is much better than using 4 keepers like we did back in the day.

Adding some velcro tape to the inner side of pouches and holster helps keep the inner/outer belts connected.
