I think you'll find the folks who make barrel extensions (BAT for example) make just one. Barrel threads are the same and are thus inter-changeable.
I've got shortened Armalite-Walther barrels, Satern, Criterion, etc, with mixed bolts (Armalite and LMT).
NOTE: If your
rail is Armalite-length you may have to go to a low-profile gas block, as the DPMS-length gas tube is a quarter-inch shorter. Or you'll need to trim the Armalite rail or tube.
I use an SLR or Midwest rail if I'm using a DPMS-length, so the next time I can use either Armalite
OR DPMS, depending on who has a good price for the next change.
