I have a HBAR Elite (24”) I bought back in the the early 90’s with fewer than 500 rounds sent down range, and it’s bone stock except for a 90’s optical scope.

I’d like to do a few upgrades and would like to see a few pictures to give me some ideas.

—> For one, I’d like to upgrade the hand grip to one of the nicer ones from Midwest, etc… and also curious if there are any butt stock upgrades available.

On my Sig MCX spear,  I’m using a holographic red dot with an optical magnifier and will most likely go with something like that for optics, but would like to see what others have done.

For a stock you may want to consider MagPul's PRS Gen 3 adjustable stock.  Pricey however.  Optics are a personal thing depending on use.

IMHO a  24” barrel needs a good scope.. 2-10x or even more.

The Colts hbar elite  may be considered collectible.
I wouldn’t modify it too much except for the stock or pistol grip that can be easily be restored to factory configuration

Those were wonderful box stock varmit rigs, just add bipod and scope and burn through cases of 50 grain ammo on pdogs and whistle pigs.

Get a PSA or RR or anything else to play dress up on, leave the poor Colt alone
