Living in California and having to make my AR15 compliant so I installed a Patriot Pin with a Mag lock. My question is, has anyone successfully mounted a rear QD sling mount that has a Patriot Pin installed?  I have a Magpul sling with a QD release on the end. Since I installed the Patriot Pin a QD endplate mount will not work as the Patriot Pin is in the way. I was looking into installing another QD end plate after the castle nut and then installing another castle nut to hold it in place however it just will not clear the Patriot Pin. Any feedback?

Did they never release the patriot pin 2.0 with an integrated QD socket?

No they did not release it yet. After already buying the first version I am hoping to find a way to make it work
