Would anyone be interested in a 1.7" height scope mount from American Defense Mfg?  I contacted ADM via email and asked about them making one.  They said if they received enough interest, they would consider manufacturing them.  I think they would be a popular option, especially with the Badger Ordnance 1.7" mounts being used more and more.

Absolutely.

I have owned the badger 1.70 and it is my favorite scope mount due to height. I would like to see that height offered from other manufacturers

Shoot them an email and let them know.  They said they would have to see more people contact them for a 1.7" mount to justify producing it.

Which mount would be 1.7" height? Or would it be a brand new design in addition to height?

I guess the Recon model or another popular one. I would be cool with whatever. Just seeing other manufacturers bring the 1.7 height for LPVOs is my main goal

I would figure the recon mount would be 1.7, if warne would do their ramp mount in 1.7 that would be a great budget option to the badger since the ramp has offset picatinny mounts for red dots.

Here is the contact page to email warne

I received an email from ADM advising me that they make a RECON-M mount, which is 1.63" height for 30mm and 1.7" for 34mm.  I'll be placing an order to try it out.

More options would be nice, but I would just go with the C1

How has that Recon- M worked out? I prefer a 1/3 co-witness cheek weld and am considering this mount myself. Thanks for any input.

I'd be interested in a 15/20MOA version at 1.7".  Seems like only low/standard mounts are available with canted bases.  A little extra height would be very comfortable and let me fit different BUIS under my scope caps.

What type of rifle would this be for? Usually I only see 1.70/1.93 for guys running and gunning and then 20MOA for precision shooters using standard 1.5 height mounts

18" SPR that I take hunting.  Shooting from odd off-hand positions is a little easier with a tall mount.  I'm not always able to go prone in the field.   The 20MOA helps on range days.  It's nice being able to use one rifle for everything.
