Can we agree to write in the ammo price (plus shipping), along with the link?

Links go dead all the time so a week later the deal may vaporize and we won't know the price. This also lets us track
the pricing trends over the long term.

There's been all three of the U.S. military individual weapon calibers covered in this thread so far;
5.56 x 45mm (and .223), 7.62 x 51mm (and .308) and 9 x 19mm so I think any caliber is fair game.

I'm interested in seeing 12 gauge ammo deals, preferably buckshot and slug shells. 12 gauge is also a platform caliber/gauge used
by the U.S. Military so there's that.

Is "NotJustAmmo" a legit site?

They have 1000 rds Tulammo 9mm steel case for $223 shipped.

https://notjustammo.com/shop/tul-ammo-9mm-fmj-115-grain-case-of-1000-rounds-in-stock/

Looking for plinking ammo for a weekend I have a few guys coming up that don't normally shoot.  I have shot thousands of rounds of Tul in the past and always had great luck.

Yup.

Only thing I don't like about them is they require a sig. But others do as well so whatever.

Our Price: $384.99
Per Round Cost: 0.740
SKU:ST308147FMJ
CASE Weight: 28.08 LBS
Caliber:308 Win
Bullet Weight: 147 Gr
Bullet Type: Full Metal Jacket

LINK OutdoorLimited 308 Saltech 147gr

Has anyone tried this ammo? Either recently or in the past.
Does Saltech (Swiss) have a good reputation for small arms ammo?

Inexpensive, plinking ammo in .308 Win / 7.62x51
I bought a box and the primers are sealed and crimped. The box says .308 Win, and case is stamped 7.62  SL 21
I assume 21 is the year of production (2021).
I plan to fire some from my new PSA PA-10 (AR platform) 0.308 Win 20" barrel in a week or two. Mainly for break-in and practice. But I am no marksman...

There was a lot of Swiss .308 come in a few years ago, seemed like really good stuff.  It was generic cardboard boxes in cans, not branded like those pics show, but if it's Swiss I'd be pretty comfortable with it.  Kind of the reverse of "don't buy ammo from places you can't drink the water"

Edit:  The old stuff was Saltech.

As I wait for a day without lots of wind, I pulled a bullet from the Saltech (Swiss) .308 147gr FMJBT and took some measurements.
The primers are sealed and crimped.
The bullet has sealant, most stayed on the inside of the case, little on the bullet I pulled. But they do have sealant.
Bullet length 1.123", dia 0.3085" (with my calipers, FWIW).

Anyone using the Target Sports Ammo+ membership that can speak to if the 8% off is worth it right now given their prices compared to others?  I feel like I don’t ever see deals posted that link to them.

Also, Flash Sale @ Natchez w/ free shipping for the next 2 days.  CCI Independence 115gr 9mm for $249.99 & CCI Blazer Brass 115gr 9mm for $259.99.

@smitty_007

I've had a TS+ membership since before '19, and it has been great for me.  Ammo shortages were not easy to deal with because I couldn't even get ammo that I was paying the membership fee for.  However, the convenience of being able to order a few boxes of certain types/calibers to test out and still get free shipping (plus the 8% discount, which usually translates to the cheapest pricing you can find eslewhere) is pretty nice.  I usually try to do case orders every quarter.  I haven't run the exact math to see how much I've saved over the membership fee, but their prices are usually competitive and the + discount really adds up.  The free shipping alone makes it worth it for the amount I order every year.

Their yearly free gift is mostly useful, but don't expect anything more than an ammo can with a minimal cleaning kit, or something else worth less than $10 or so.

I use it, they also charge tax so be aware of that. The membership basically offsets tax for me. What makes it a deal for me is free shipping any amount, which makes it real easy to toss in a couple boxes of 6.5 CM or 45-70 with an order.

I've had the membership before but canceled the renewal during the bad supply chain/crazy prices the last two years.  I just started looking for ammo again and  with the discount they are better priced on many things.  You'll still sometimes find better deals elsewhere,  just have to price shop.

As others posted the membership is a big help if you are regularly buying a few boxes at a time instead of full cases as you get free shipping even if you just order 1 box.

Sorry not exactly ammo, but... Sportsmansguide has 50cal and 30cal ammo cans on sale.
I got a free 30day subscription offer to give free shipping and a further 10% off.
They dont give a grade for the cans, but I assume Grade 1. Maybe ill be wrong, but description say "used in very-good condition"

For non-members
$8 50cal
$7 30cal
Even with $15 shipping its quite a bit less than elsewhere that I know of.

What has happened to Zinc Point MFG?

The link to their site is dead https://zincpoint.com and I fear they may have succumbed to bad reviews, BBB ratings (they have an "F" rating but a 4.1/5 star customer rating) or that series of "Zincpoint 9mm blew up in my face" videos.

What Happened with Zinc Point Manufacturing? The Exploding Ammo Update

Did find a "site" in the barest sense of the word, and the site is, well, bare: https://zpnt.icommunecate.com
Seems to be a temporary site or stand-in for the real deal. EDIT: This site is from when they were based in Florida.

Not sure why they shut down, I've shot a good bit of their ammo (2-3k, 5.56 only) and have had no issues with it for cheap blasting ammo. Still have a bit left, but I wouldn't be surprised if those videos were a cause

Nowadays you need to redefine huge.
Used to be a member and they were unquestionably the go to place for ammo.
Nowadays not so much.
Their prices aren't as good in the past to justify the membership anymore.....at least for me.

The "sale"is laughable, but I do find the membership worth it for myself as I place a lot of small orders that would end up costing more in shipping than the membership. The ammo prices themselves aren't anything special though.

This definitely makes the membership worthwhile. For those who don't reload and want to buy 1 box of a variety of manufacturers.

Maybe I will join and instead of buying a case, just make 20 individual purchases of 1 box each and make them ship for free to make my membership worthwhile.

I used the Winchester rebate and had issues.  Did last fall and last holiday ones.  Got the rebate for the fall one in 3 months.

The holiday one, they never got my letter.  It ended up taking 8 months of constant back and forth through phone calls and emails for me to get my rebate.

Not going to bother with it after that, and I am not wasting ~$8 for a $75 rebate to sebd my letter certified w/ return receipt requested.

If you live in the Midwest near a Mills Fleet Farm: they have Blazer Brass 9mm on sale for $0.22 per round (plus tax) and Winchester white box .223 on sale for $0.4667 per round. (Friday and Saturday only from the looks of it).

Neither is a spectacular deal compared to the past (the 9mm is a better deal than the 223 anyway), but it at least beats most anything available online these days.
