This is a strong contender in the lightweight AR-10 pattern world, with lots of folks like @m4ger liking them. However I'd need to swap out that handguard eventually.

I don't love long and skinny handguards, and don't love quad rails either. Perfect handguard would be something like the KAC 10.75" URX3.1 or a Geissele.

Anything like that around for the M&P10 series? I know they use proprietary parts, so it's a challenge. I'd like something that isn't stupid long and allows me to still adjust a gas block under the rail.

SLR appears to have several DPMS low pattern handguards which may be employed on the M&P10.

Only thing that's proprietary is the barrel extension and bcg.

Anyway, I have a MI 15" keymod on my M&P 10 and have zero complaints.

Would one of the KAC URX handguards fit on the M&P10?

You would need to know the height of the KAC rail.

I'm not sure of it off hand.

Looking around, it sounds like if I want to use a KAC rail I'll be better off using an Aero set.
