Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aero precision light weight scope mounts GTG?

I’ve heard that the aero light weight mounts have problems due to the way the rings engage with the scope body. Is it overblown worry or legit? This is for a 1-6x so I’m not looking for super precision. I do want something that is somewhat reliable and won’t break if I look at it funny.

I have had good luck with them but only with lightweight scopes, IMO they are not beefy enough for heavier scopes. You just have to be very careful when you tighten the rings, watching you scope for turning in the mount.

Never had a problem with mine op, they are gtg. Get an updated Arisaka scope level kit if you don't already have one.
