Im planning a semi-budget recce-ish build and am looking for any input/suggestions on barrels I should consider that cost less than $200.

Id prefer a 14.5" mid-gas barrel, but could possibly be swayed to go to 16".  Would also like stainless for the look of it but thats not a 100% requirement, as getting the most accuracy for the money is more important than the looks, stainless would just be a bonus.
Ive already been looking at BA and Rosco barrels, and also liked the Columbia river arms one too.  But Id like to hear others that I should be looking at and why.
The rest of the build will be Aero upper & lower, 13" ALG rail, Larue mbt, and yet to be determined 1-4x optic, shooting anything between 50gr vmax to 75gr hornady.
Thanks

Every BA barrel I have owned has shot little clusters or ragged holes.

my Yote Gun has a BA hanson profile BBL with their pinned gas Block and it probably can outshoot me.

Your budget is kinda limiting.  I would step up to Larue.  BA and Faxon may fit your budget, they've got a better reputation than Rosco.

Green Mountain has a really good reputation for accuracy with their 10/22 barrels, not sure how well it translates to their AR15 offerings but based on my 10/22 experience with them I'd buy.

I recently got a Delton CL hbar and the barrel is a laser as far as I am concerned.
Middy CL hhbar was like $170.
I had doubts but it proved me wrong

Columbia River Arms still has 30% off with their MANA30 promo code, gets you a 5.56 barrel for $161.00 + frt.
You're gonna have to wait weeks for them to build it but should be worth it.

i have larue stealth, daniel defense, ba hansons, colt and faxon ranging from 12" to 16".

My faxon socom is my least liked. dont like their socom profile.

12" stealth is a little heavy.

BA, Faxon, Larue, Green Mountain and even PSA barrels all shoot good from my personal experience.  I own rifles with BA, Faxon, Larue and PSA barrels.  The PSA is the least consistent but I’ve never put anything other than bulk ammo through it.  I put manufactured (not hand loads) high end ammo in the BA, Faxon and Larue barrels with no noticeable difference between the three.  The fact of the matter is that most people exaggerate how well they can shoot and it’s usually by a lot.  Unless you’re going to use the rifle in Precision matches, any of the usual will be fine.  Most decent barrels are more accurate than the actual shooter.

the barrel maker that is not to be named here.  After taking the plunge, for under $200, I cannot believe what this barrel is capable of.

So its looking like the general consensus is I cant go wrong with any barrel.  Im leaning heavily toward the BA hansen 14.5", as I can find them under $200 with a pinned gas block.

Thanks for all the input

Green Mountain makes a good barrel. Maybe wait until Memorial Day for a sale?

I’d take a Green Mountain over a BA any day of the week.

You can get a good or just average barrel from anyone.  I’m happy with my Faxon gunner.

Just to update this, I picked up one of these  https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/16-inch-223-wylde-tacgov-mid-length-ss-premium-barrel-ops12.html  for less than $140.   Figure itll be more accurate than I am for now.
