I’m really leaning hard toward this rail, 12” for my build.

Anyone have it? Pros/cons vs the gen2 Aero/Spikes rail?

Slimmer and more comfortable than the BAR rails. The locking system is solid. It ratchets in place. Four points plus the barrel nut inhibit rotation. Hardware hasn't rusted. Really happy with it.

No cons to complain of.

They also work well with FSB. Just need the correct length rail. Also there is the matter of removing the FSB before installing, but I'm really happy with this setup.

their locking mechanism is one of the best IMO.  I have a 15".  Solid unit.

I think I have 5 or 6 of them now. Good rails for the money.

I don't have the R-ONE but do have a couple of the S ONE's and as stated very solid lock up and I too really like the rachet system used to hold it on it is very solid.

I have one on an AR10

and one on an AR15

Very happy with mine.
It is on one of my go to rifles.

I also like the BCM MCMR, which is a little more expensive.
But once you factor in that it comes with a QD Swivel MLOK attachment, it starts to make more sense when compared to other similarly priced options.

Neither is very fat.  As a matter of fact, many lo profile adjustable gas blocks will not work with them.  OdinWorks AGB won’t.

I was looking at an S-one last week. As I measured a few they had the actual measurements was about 5/8 inch longer than stated for the size.
In my case it made it a no go. Good to know about the Odin gas block. That’s what I was going to use.

Just to update, I picked up a 12" R, keymod.

Right to Bear has a Daily Deal for the 12" Atlas-R Keymod for $85 (blem).

Its going to get painted, so I don't care about it being a blem; I wanted M-lok, but for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Excellent rail and great price. I use quite a bit of the Atlas S-One rails myself.
