Has anyone successfully used an ALG emr V3 13" on a setup running a 13.7" barrel? I want a rail that's cheap, simple, and sturdy, and the ALG is one of the only ones i can actually find in stock

Intuitively i would think the 13" rail length would be fine, but i've seen/heard multiple instances of various rail brands listed at "13" actually being too long with a 13.7"

I recently picked up one of the new govt. profile mid length 13.7 inch barrels from Ballistic Advantage and had planned on using a Troy 13 inch rail that I had laying around in the parts bin.  I did a mock up and the 13 inch rail was too long to allow the use of a Surefire Warcomp for mounting my RC2.  I went with a BCM 12 inch quad rail, since I knew that the BCM rail is around 12.5 inches and would accommodate the use of a suppressor.  If you're not worried about using a suppressor, then the ALG rail is a really good choice.  They are quality pieces of kit and are very reasonably priced.
