Assuming the upper I ordered a month ago shows up sometime this year, which are the preferred 6.8mags? This is just for a normal lower, not one of the LWRC.
I've already picked up a couple ASC and C-products. I see D&H and E-Lander out there, as well as the MidwayUSA AR Stoner brand. |

I have a bunch of ASC mags in different sizes. They have all worked perfectly.

For me, PRI for the win. I have a few 6.8s but a lot more 6.8 based wildcats. The PRI are my go to magazine for all my 6.8 based cats from .224 to .338 diameter. And so far, none of the 20R mags (body size) have needed any tweaking that makes them unsuitable for use in all calibers. The only PRI 6.8 mags that have needed any feed lip tweaking was on some very old 30 round mags (body size) for use with the .338 Spectre.
The only other 6.8 mags I have are the very old original CProducts magazines, not the current ASC or CPDefense. They are OK, but they do not allow for as long a COAL as do the PRI mags. |

AR Stoner are ASC.
i have AR St mags and they all have an ASC marked follower but AR st bottom plate |

I have quite a few of the ASC made PSA mags that went on sale a few Christmas's ago for $5.99. Bought 15 of those. They have been 100% reliable.
Bought some Barrett mags when they had the half price sale. Bought 10 of those. And 5 more off of gunbroker not long ago for $12.50 each for the 5. Bought 5 of the PRI 25rd mags at a local shop was going out of business. The PRI and Barrett mags are my preferred ones for now. I still use the ASC ones every now and again if I grab them to go to the range. |
