I found the long thread about these from a couple of years back. Sadly, most of the links to supporting mods are all dead.
That BCA side charger is perfect receiver. Looks like most (all?) side charger receivers are no longer in stock or discontinued.

I found a couple of boxes from my Army days. Screwed on a BFA and started shooting in my house. It was a hoot. Cant imagine paying .50 each though. Maybe if I'm trying to teach the kids some shooting fundamentals in the Livingroom...

The balls also come apart or it blows the jacket off the ball. That's with the short end of barrel NcStar type though. As range increases everything else goes out the window. If the F5 version is a 16' tube then a blank with a slower push might get more range / accuracy. |

EDIT: You probably know this... once you make the blank, the brass is toast unless you make say 300BLK out of it. |
