.50c a round, seriously?

Shouldn't this be like .10-.15c a round?

ETA: Yes, I just discovered the Can Cannon.

I found the long thread about these from a couple of years back. Sadly, most of the links to supporting mods are all dead.

That BCA side charger is perfect receiver. Looks like most (all?) side charger receivers are no longer in stock or discontinued.

I found a couple of boxes from my Army days. Screwed on a BFA and started shooting in my house. It was a hoot. Cant imagine paying .50 each though. Maybe if I'm trying to teach the kids some shooting fundamentals in the Livingroom...

$6.43 per 20 rounds from TargetSportsUSA

And, yes, they work with Can Cannons.

Has anyone made a golf ball cannon? I feel like that has a better market.

You can order the F5 cannon with a golf ball adapter.  Mine should be here next week.

You start getting blanks too hot for the golf balls and accuracy goes out the window.

The balls also come apart or it blows the jacket off the ball.

That's with the short end of barrel NcStar type though.

As range increases everything else goes out the window.

If the F5 version is a 16' tube then a blank with a slower push might get more range / accuracy.

Nice! Setting them up is a little tricky. Go slow on the crimp, really, REALLY easy to push the shoulder back if you go to much too fast

Once you get a feel for the process and Die set up, you can crank out lots of can cannon food for CHEAP!!

EDIT:
You probably know this... once you make the blank, the brass is toast unless you make say 300BLK out of it.

I actually got two boxes (40 rounds) of Lake City M200 blanks at the gun show today for $5. That's $0.125 per round. I'm happy.

@Ghostface
Not my video, gives you the general idea. The dies are around $100. I use Unique RED DOT! powder for my .223 balnk charge. Start at say 5gr and work up. Felt recoil, distance launched determine charge. if the can explodes as its leaving the barrel you went to far with your charge
