Haven't tested it, but most 68-69 gr OTM fails to penetrate adequately if it fragments so I'm confident 52gr SMK would esplode into tiny pieces and penetrate about 6"-8".

That's what I would think too, but sometimes what I think does not turn out to be true

The ones I've shot stuff with blew up and made tiny groups. Wouldn't consider them beyond target and small varmint
