I've used a couple of the radical firearms ones that are cheap on primary arms. I haven't measured the OD but they look just like a typical A2. Just don't try to use the crush washer that comes with it. Way too thin, gives less than half a turn of crush.

LMT.
There are several others that are close, but the grooves for holding the blank adaptor or flash can are not deep enough. |

On the M16A2/M4 compensator the diameter of the bottom of the grooves is 0.63 +0/-.02" The .30 versions are threaded with a 5/8-24 thread. See the problem? |
