I came into some 30/06 in the box ammo. The boxes are marked EAU CLAIRE Ordnance plant .30 M2 ammo, with a red stripe. Is this stuff any good? Safe to shoot?

It's ok to shoot corrosive just be sure to clean up really well afterwords before the end of day...and don't wait until the following day (too late). Look up info on shooting corrosive primers for tips on cleaning up.

Quite likely to perform as intended, assuming it was stored well. Keep in mind it is 81 years old and corrosive primed. I wouldn't seek it out or buy it unless it was dirt cheap, but if it was free, I'd try it out.
